Working to provide an equal seat at the table for underrepresented communities in Central Virginia.

We are a  non-profit organization that provides outreach to underrepresented communities in Central Virginia.

The goal is to inspire change locally through education, communication and community support. A grassroots organization, AFE has seen rapid growth and a big show of support since hosting the first annual Juneteenth celebration in historic downtown Appomattox in June 2020.
